Sweet Scoops Ice Cream in Port Charlotte

They're the only ice cream shop I have found that have my favorite ice cream maple walnut thank you Scoops

The line was ridiculously long but the staff was super polite and the ice cream was AMAZING

Their mint chocolate chip is the best I've ever had! Love the giant chips they use in it. Drive-thru moves quickly, prices fair.

Being going here for as long as I remember and the service and the ice cream are still as amazing as ever. It is small in it's original home, but it's worth it. They do have outdoor seating and a drive thru.

Unprofessional. The old guy asked me to pay for it and give the receipt with the tip before they finished serving me, he was rude when I tried to pay with a discover credit card (which store doesn't accept Discover nowadays?!) and because of that I didn't give any tips, the old guy said "wow" loud and closed the window and he kept talking to the 2 girls inside and they laughed. You have to work for your tips, it's not automatic! Politeness goes a long way. Now you didn't only not get tips, but you lost another customer and future orders. Good job! 👏

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to put no stars. I have been coming to this place for years and today 7-7-20 has been the worse day ever two of your employees one female with colored bangs and a older gentleman were very disrespectful it was quit disgusting I leave a tip every time I come to sweet scoop and I didn’t told because your employee came to take my order and because I got 6 ice creams she had a problem and proceeded to drop her head and note book on the way in then between her and the gentleman then began taking about me and my passenger and then shoved the ice cream in my hand. As I went to tell the older men he just acted like he didn’t hear me. That’s so rude me and my family have come here for too long and have never been rude to your employees but this isn’t the first time she had an additude about my order

Exc quality. I ordered a hot fudge sundae. Delicious.It was homemade and I njoyed it. I will come back!

A great variety of flavors, very difficult to choose as they all looked delicious. Pleasant sales young guy and gal. The place walls are covered with license plates from all states and various countries. Kept us busy looking at all the places we have visited on those walls while we had some delicious ice cream cones. My favorite pistachio with almonds! 😋

Some of the best ice cream around, it's a little out of the way for me but if I'm driving through, I make sure I stop here. Wish they had a bigger parking lot or drive through as they can get quite crowded for their small space and I feel like that keeps a lot of business away. They could get quite big with some smart business moves as the ice cream itself is truly great.

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone honestly. Their ice cream is good but not that good. The service there is honestly the worst service I have ever had. They rushed us with our orders & when my mom said there was one more ice cream the lady rolled her eyes at my mother. My mom tried to lighten up her mood & crack some jokes & this lady just rolled her eyes continually at my moms. This isn’t the first time I’ve had a rude worker here. I’ve gone here for almost 5 years now but every time I go back the workers seem to get more rude. Being a small business, you should treat customers better! Save your money & don’t go here

We visit my parent's here in Northport a few times a year. We always make a few trips to scoops for the ice cream. We love it and always will!

Ice cream is excellent we come here often But tonight there were two you people sitting at the both inside the door No dishes the whole time we were there. We had to sit 4 of us at the small table. I feel people should not take up seats if just hanging out. Staff should have said something. Others came in after us and had to sit outside. Please educate staff of put no loitering signs

It was OK ice-cream, the service was GREAT, HOWEVER when I asked if I needed a spoon for my milkshake (a simple question) they said no.... But I absolutely DID NEED ONE because I couldn't get the cookie dough through the straw pretty simple concept🤔. So maybe a little better mixing instead of rushing & I'd give more stars seeing that I waited 20 minutes in the drive through for 2 milkshakes, I don't think another 3 minutes would have hurt. JS🤙🏼

This is by far my favorite ice cream shop. The people here are friendly and the variety of ice cream is simply awesome! A great place for the family to go out after dinner or if you're like me and love ice cream anytime. I wish they had an easier drive thru though. Besides that i recommend you check this place out. Excellence in a cone, cup, or bowl you decide

Best ice cream in Florida! Friendly staff. They have great portions for a reasonable price. A crazy amount of flavors. I just wish they had a bigger building because it gets pretty cramped once more people start coming in. Drive-thru makes things easier. Awesome license plate decor.

Always get the same thing Banana Split! They use a high butter fat percentage so it's creamy and oh so yummy!! I love the taste of the strawberry ice cream, it takes me back to a little dive up North!

Fun place to go. It’s got a bit of a retro, small-town business feel. We went on Halloween night and the staff were dressed up in their costumes. I had 2 scoops of ice cream and loved them both. As an ice cream addict, I’ll definitely go back!

The line was long so I was hesitant, BUT they were SO fast and the ice cream is delicious! We will definitely be back.

The banana split is to die for! 3 scoops of handmade icecream, piled on with pineapple, chocolate, and strawberries, whipped cream with nuts banana and cherries. The only thing that I didn't find appealing was the price but I will definitely come back for more.

Tons of flavors! Delicious! And reasonably priced. Definitely recommend.
